That wouldn't matter too much. Unless it's listed as "for spare parts", or faults are expressly stated in the listing, then the fact that it is in full working order is implied. In other words, listing it as 'brand new' with no faults stated means you would expect to receive a new, fully functioning item and if that's not what you get, you have a right to a refund, but no warranty in these circumstances unless provided by the seller, which it isn't going on the description you quoted.



I know it's everyone's own choice etc, but personally, I would steer clear of it. As is often mentioned on the boards, the few dollars more you pay from a bricks and mortar store for items like this is worth the confidence and peace of mind with a warranty and so forth.
