Except that it was, which is why the post was edited by the mod...

Vexed threads about nothing like this are symbolic of a dying community vibe to Ebay.
Why is it so? Probably because communicating (ebeven badly or impolitely) / buying online now is so everyday for most people now it is no longer their own little club/community/clique that it used to be when Ebay was in the realm of collectors and swap meets.
Ebay has therefore hard to adapt to the hard nose business tactics of volume.
Anyone remember the days of "pinks" (ebay staff) who interjected responses, and even as far back as simon, an actual aus rep who conducted Q & A and even chased up individual problems. Now it is all just anonymous **bleep** in the wind, with no one really caring, and unfortunatel only Ebays restrictive policies keeping many of the sellers in line. As usual with any generic rules what restrains some will trample on others
The culture has changed
ASSUMPTION IS THE MOTHER OF ALL STUFF UPS!!

The US boards have an ebay rep that does weekly Q & A.
Don't know why we can't.

I agree stawka and maybe all the problems/mistakes could easily be resolved because someone would actually listen
to what you and I had to say instead of going by what they have written in front of them.
It's funny how we have to go through certain stages to make sure we're not robots whilst ebay are robots.

Spoileralmost as bad as waiting for paint to dry!
Not as bad as watching weeds grow 10x faster than anything else on the property..............................

yes, I am okay and thanks for asking. Unlike others up here, I got through our storms last week unscathed, but I don't like to crow about that.
I have had some mozzies and other pests bothering me in recent days, but pests are just a nuisance and of no great significance. I find that if they are too much of a pest they usually get banished and don't hang around to bother me. Ignoring them sometimes works, but some are persistent and just need a good swat to be gone. January can be bad for pests, but appropriate precautions can keep them away i.e. knowing where they breed and disrupting their home base (for mozzies that is).
I too dislike the fvf on postage.
