I had a slide rule too. Calculators came in while I was at high school. Came in as in, they were allowed to be used. I refused to use one. I didn't want some gadget doing what my brain was doing. 

As for doing 4channel's tax. Pfft. That's what e-tax is for (or whatever it's called now).
