I love this bit in the reply ....
Removing negative feedback from sellers is why I bought an item from someone that has a bad record of selling in the first place.
Still scratching my head on that ????

Ah, but did you enjoy the smoke from the burnoff opposite the Shamrock that we produced for you yesterday?

Not surprised at the smoke still being there, there was a lot of fuel in some parts of that block.
40 deg ????
It was well over that in some of the places where I was standing.................. But a burger and a cold beer from the Shammie put that right after we finished up.............

duffl03, you may want to read eBay's Feedback manipulation policy.
"What is feedback manipulation?
Any attempt to artificially increase your Feedback score, or lower another member's, is considered Feedback manipulation."
Also, you may want to peruse eBay's Unwelcome and malicious buying policy.
You certainly had an interesting comment to make in this feedback, and I note that the seller responded in appropriate fashion.

Easy enough to work out that they meant the seller had obviously had other negative feedback removed in the past, which is why they ended up buying from someone with a bad record (that wasn't actually showing).

Yes? I could only see 1 neg on page 1 of 200 feedbacks.

Mm-hmm - from what's been said, the purchase was made deliberately with the intention of leaving negative feedback.

I misread that bolded bit. Yikes! That member won't have a long eBay career with that attitude. It only takes a few malicious feedbacks to get booted off. And now they've outed themselves on a public message board.
Party anyone?

I don't know where you get that from. I read it as them saying that they would never have bought from that seller if their bad feedback from the past was still showing, instead of being removed when it shouldn't be. In other words, if they'd known what the seller was really like they would never have bought from them, but they've got no way of knowing what the seller is really like because their bad feedback keeps getting removed.
