Well, pluck my feathers and call me Maisie!

Davewil, I do hereby earnestly promise that I shan't be ordering this from an overseas seller using the GSP. For that matter, i won't be ordering from an overseas seller at all.

... and I've decided that it's the Electrolux EVEP618SC that I want. 18 glorious functions! I can bake bread at the same time as roasting a numpty-bird! I can steam things while cooking others!

Spoiler
The excitement is getting a little too much for me. I almost detonated a dormant hidden North Korean missile with my enthusiasm.

The bliss. I recognise the term 'Elecrolux', but the rest is model numbers to me.

Would coffee, or cognac, or Grange temper your excitement?

I don't know whether coffee would temper it, but that seems strangely irrelevant as I gaze at the coffee grinder and the Sulawesi Kalosi coffee beans in my mind's coffeescape... (The beans and grinder are upstairs; the call is inexorable.)

Yeah, but does it have a plate warmer? You don't want to be putting no barbequed plucked numpty bird on a cold plate now, do you?

Oven Functions:

  • traditional bake,
  • roast,
  • pizza,
  • cook from frozen,
  • full grill,
  • fan grill,
  • keep warm,    🢠   (This should do it.)
  • defrost,
  • steam cooking,
  • fan cooking,
  • pastry,
  • Half grill,
  • bread baking,
  • steam reheating,
  • rapid heat,
  • base heat,
  • pyro clean,
  • steam cooking

I won't have to serve numpty-bird chaud-frois, thank goodness.

Countess, de gustibus non est disputandum!

Well folks, my computer has already been processed in Kentucky, given a UPS tracking number, and readied for dispatch downunder, despite a slight delay due to severe weather. It will be interesting to see how soon it gets here!

Ha ha ha, what a joke.
You can't use the GSP and not be ripped off

As bad as it is marwi_3023, it may help me when I decide to start selling again. Hmmmm Smiley Indifferent   Local buyers will be forced to buy of me as they won't want to have to pay those hefty prices for Pitney Bowes' Global Shipping scam and be ripped off. Woman Sad Just like the earthquake in New Zealand, a horrific and tragic event, it helped stimulate the building industry. So good things can be a side-benefit from horrid things. Is your computer being sent through the GSP?   It sounds like it if it has been sent to Erlanger KY for dispatch to Australia.

However, it would not be coming with UPS.....the GSP uses FedEx, an Australian based company.

Before you come back and complain that the tracking is not correct check the FedEx site.....it is more likely to be there.

Hi lyndal1838. Yes, it is through GSP. The parcel went from Florida to Kentucky through Tennessee in about two days. My tracking shows a GSP as well as a UPS number now. Perhaps the size and the weight have something to do with it? By the way, how did you become an "Honoured Contributor"?
