Sometimes you don't get a new tracking number....you just continue with the same number that was assigned to the parcel to start with.

The twice that I used the GSP (a long time ago) I did not get a new number but the tracking did mention that the parcel had been handed to FedEx for shipping to Australia.

It's because we have moderators that we are so polite, lol. 

You don't last long if you're not polite.

As for the honored contributor thingie,  maybe it is because I don't go in the answer centre.   I dunno.
