Suspicious Bids

Have been watching an item to see now that most of the bids are by a couple of bidders with 0 previous buying or selling rating.

It looks quite suspicious what do my fellow ebayers think??

What do I think ?

Not a lot , just move on . There must be thousands of items with bids on them with buyers with a 0 feedback.

Unless you can proof it's shill bidding your wasting your time.

Michele, without seeing the bidding history no-one can offer an opinion.

As anime says...there must be thousands of items out there that have bids from 0/low feedback buyers.

If you are worried about it you can post the full title of the item here and we will have a look for you.

We all had to start somewhere

I bid on some guitar strings recentley.I lost the bid. Then two days later I got a second chance offer.I looked at the bidding history and noticed the highest bidder had bumped up the price three times till he/she outbid me.Looking further I see that his activity in bids was 100% with this seller .Hmmmmmm.Not good. It's a bad way to do buisness but I bought the strings anyway.Should I report this eBay user or move on ?

And only bid what you are happy to pay, otherwise move on and find another seller. That way you will be a happy camper. 🙂

lorder up to you, but many auctions that appear to be shilling actually aren't. A product like the strings, I would think the seller probably has many so can offer as second chance.

Agree with Kopes  (and waves) can not honestly see a seller risking his rep on eBay over guitar strings.......really?:|

lorder, if it is the Ernie Ball guitar strings I think you will find that the winning bidder had his bid in before you placed your bids, so you were the one bidding the strings up.
