Information regarding the actual ownership of a business entity may or may not be reflected in the original registration details, simply depending on the information given by the person opening the account, as eBay simply do not require these details to subscribe to its services.

The current eBay business account holder details are not currently set up to ascertain anything much at all about the business entity, nor does the online form seek to equire who actually "owns" or runs a business entity, or even what type of business or company or coporation structure an  entity has.

Indeed, a business may change hands, and the registered contact, email address and other details of the account remain the same.   What then ?
