These are all failueres on eBay's part to provide adequate facilities for business (and/or account) owners (holders) to carry out standard procedures that are necessary when a business changes hands.

I shouldn't have used 'transfer of ownership' in reference to an eBay account because as account holders, we don't own our accounts, eBay maintains ownership of them.

I maintain that if a business account is registered to an individual (which has thus far been neither confiirmed or denied), then the account information, as it is collected and stands, is "my name is ____ ____, and I am currently operating this account as the business ______",

and not "this is the business ______, and the person known as ____ ____ is our current contact".

I think there is a significant difference between the two, they are not interchangeable, and I still don't think eBay provides for the latter scenario, unless someone can confirm that a business account is not registered to an individual. Edit: Or, at the very least, that eBay provides an option for a business account to be registered to an individual or a company.
