I reported an item for excessive postage last week.

Item stayed the same - ebay didn't care obviously.

So what's stopping anybody doing the same?

(Apart from buyers not buying, that is)

That seller's other items have much more reasonable postage costs (eg $15 for a pair of shoes), so it's possible the P&H on those items was an error, then copied over to the second listing if they used 'sell similar'.

I've sent them a quick message to ask if the P&H is correct, just in case they're not aware of the amount entered.

I don't think blaming E-bay for this is fair, it is up to the seller to make sure their postages are fair and reasonable

why should ebay care anymore about excessive postage. They are still getting their 10% from it.

Get outta town!      Up to the seller?    sarcastic.gif  Lotsa seller's ready to rip you off

given the chance. Some old-time seller's, who only sell in a blue moon, don't even

keep up with the new policies

And I'm not saying that this is the case here

And as for ebay - Excessive postage is against ebay's policy.

If it's reported, why is nothing done?
