In the eyes of Aus Post I thought parcels and letter were treated differently.

I am fully away you can simply purchase tracking and signature for parcels, but this option is not currently available for items under the large letter category, "from what i have been told by our Local Aus Post Manager"

Also the pre paid registered envelopes according to Aus Post are for documents only, I have been told this in the past and on one occasion listened to the staff debate over sending a USB key in one of the envelopes bringing up the whole digital document issue.

As for the registered enveloped they are not padded and do not currently suit our needs.

C&S really should offer a large letter service or something similar..fingers crossed.

I will have to try some other post offices near my area and see if they will sell the pre paid registered labels after the 8th.
