Please point us to this golden rule guideline that says you should start at a price you're willing to accept. At the moment ebay is pushing sellers to start at 99c. For a new seller that registered a month ago, that's all they had to go on.

Even those of us who have been selling ling term are getting messages to start at 99c on unsold auctions. 

What indicates to you that this seller is a scammer? Not all new sellers of coins are scammers.
