And remember ........ even if you do lodge at a PO, many small POs don't scan the item (I've recently discovered).  The item MAY be scanned when it gets to the first PO sorting facility.  However, as I've been told by AP on many occasions, not all parcels are tracked at every point.  The only way to ensure comprehensive tracking is paying for registered post.
