It is concerning to hear that you feel that parcels are often not scanned as collected, as this is certainly not the correct procedure. If the Post Office has an electronic scanner (most do, but not all) then the parcel should definitely be scanned as "Delivered" when it is collected. 

Occasionally human error may enter the equation or technical difficulties, and when this does happen we do want to be advised so that we can look into what happened and ensure staff are aware of the correct procedures.
