I've definitely heard of "joethenuts" in the world of poker ......... but joe, I've gone from being known as cathyjoyjoy to cathy and now Cath !!!!!!!n As you would say ..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i have seen main oard posters ask for item number , why would they ask if it wasnt allowed.   i have seen item numbers on all the time, you might be right    but it seams to be allowed.

Most posters here are very helpful indeed, bringing their practical knowledge and experience of deciphering the "eBay rules".  Much of this help is with the assistance of sites mentioned previously ........ (Because not everyone is able to provide all the information that is needed) .......... timing is important and I've seen members write that they are grateful for the assistance which is often ONLY resolved by accessing these public sites.

however, I do recall the occasional reference to a member's buying info with the intention to "rattle" that person AND others who read here   I don't think that's a very helpful approach.

by the way its my birthday today  53 maybe

anyway you stick to those sites ,  i will stick to  asking first.

thank you very much   i can see you have put a lot of thought into that.

thank you

the all in reminds me what happened ,in 2005 after joe hachem won the world series , me and him were involved in selling chips in cases with his signature  not on ebay. this is a true story  . 1 day a chap come up to me and asked how many chips do i need to go all in  as he would see on tv. , and being a smart salesperson i said the more the better so he said i better have 2 sets then.  lol

It's also against forum rules to go off topic, but it still happens and providing it doesn't turn into an interpersonal dispute, often a blind eye is turned.

Happy birthday by the way!

thank you
