I have to agree with davewil.  I can't imagine your items appealing to the mass market.

They are a rather expensive party novelty and how many party hosts would want to spend in excess of $20 for a stubby cooler for every guest when there might be 20 or 30 guests or more.

Across the boards there are many sellers of many different types of items asking the same question as you and there is really no simple answer.  I think on the whole people are prioritising their spending or just not spending at all unless they are getting good value for money.
