One way is to photograph the item at the post office and ask the PO if they could sign and stamp a note to say the package is packaged satisfactorily. A bit of a hassle, but some protection for you for future parcels.

Ask her to send clear photos close up and a clear full shot, as you need to send them to Aust Post and that the photos she has sent are unclear. This way I guess if she sends the clear photos that show it was likely damaged during opening and not via transport you may be able to use them in the eBay claim. Just a thought.

I keep additional photos that I don't upload, inside and out of clothing just in case someone tries the "damaged, SNAD. Another option, in the case of people "swapping" your item for another and returning a damaged item via a dispute is to use an invisible marker!
