I don't mind that there was, a watchcount search, if it did not invade privacy without permission.

What I mind, is being opted-in automatically to such a search without my permission, or knowledge. A third-party riding off eBay; that, I did not choose to happen to my information.

It was sheer luck I found out about it.

When a member here posted purchases of mine after eBay removed view item from feedback.

Before that I had no idea it existed.

That type of search, should be opt-in with a person's permission. Then that would take care of any issues with helping members out.
