Yes, I'd have to agree with Panoramic. Whilst there may be a select few who have phobias or past bad experiences, I am sure they are in the minority, and most people are very decent by nature.

However, if you are going to do a personal delivery, what's the harm in making communication first and say you live or work nearby and would they prefer in person or by mail. The worst they can say is no!
