I tell you one thing, my buyers will never have to worry about this.... 

A couple of years ago, I noticed one of my buyers' address was a shorter walk away from me than the post office (ahh... the days when my PO was in walking distance, I miss that, but I digress), so I started thinking about whether I should contact them and ask if they'd like me to drop off their item later than day.

But, I hate anomalies, as a buyer and a seller, they make me really uncomfortable and awkward a lot of the time, and it often takes me too long to work out how to broach something if I never have before (and I'm not counting the buyer's proximity to me as an anomaly, I'm counting the idea of contacting them and asking if they'd like me to deliver, because that's outside the standard procedure I'm both used to and comfortable with  ).

So, I walked down to the PO and posted as normal, much to my relief.
