Does AP manage the locker you went to? That might make a difference, too. If it wasn't strictly a post office but a service station etc. then they would be more likely to have to follow AP procedure to the "letter".
Shows that it could be an idea to make pick-up lockers, drop-off lockers as well.
Yes it is AusPost I get my returns sent there and the ladies in the post office put the stuff into the lockers also they manage to take them out when I owe money and hold them for ransom in the post office 😉
Just annoys me the buyer has to wait, there an extra risk of it being misplaced/damaged they only had to take 20 steps. Now it will go to Underwood tonight hopefully return to the post office tomorrow they will then take it and put it in the parcel locker had to bite my lip in the post office but I am sure a few veins popped up.
