I did someting similar and got a defect.

The original order was tracked but I left out a part.

The buyer contacted me about the missing part.

I edited the tracking number to the new express number for the missing part.

Got a defect for it.

I would add, the buyer just messaged me. No INAD, INR.  

Now I send the tracking number via the message system if replacing.
