Cheaper Postage option for letters?

Hey guys. 95% of my items ship as normal letters with a $1 stamp. I was starting to wonder if there was an option somewhere to make some savings on the postage cost. Cheaper stamps for bulk purchase perhaps?

 

Figured I would ask all the people here in the know, before I went on a google spree.

Some sellers go to the trouble of buying stamps online on ebay from other sellers who offer lots.     You can buy a big lot of old stamps, which are still able to be used, and you might save something.    Personally I couldn't be bothered.

the cost to post is set by australia post.

i take it your wanting to buy $1 stamps for less than $1.

isnt that like trying to buy $1 coins for less than $1?

You can buy old unused stamps for a fraction of face value.

guess there's no chance on getting old unused $50 notes the same way?
