Hi all,

I'm sorry if I have upset anyone with my previous post, I was simply advising the OP of the official stance AP has to pre-paid products, and my comment about throwing old satchels away was my personal opinion, so I would appreciate it if the personal insults were not continued.

In relation to the comments surrounding the grace period given to prepaid products this is correct and as the OP did not confirm exactly how old the satchels are there is no way of knowing whether their satchels would still fall under a grace period or not.

As the change to the Parcel Post Service (from the red/white untraceable satchels to the new blue/red Parcel Post Plus satchels) only occurred about 4 months ago I am not surprised that the old satchels are still in circulation as the last of the old stock is sold out.

If the satchels in question were part of that product batch at that old price of $6.60 then I would think it would be unlikely that an underpaid mail notice would be applied if it was caught, however these satchels may be several years old, in which case several price rises might have occurred since they were purchased and the risk of being charged as underpaid increases if the satchel is caught.
