Not sure why you picked on my comment and asked me to be nice....it was not even in answer to your post.

However, I am very glad to see that you have learned that ebay does give terrible advice and that you need to ignore it and work out what works for you.

Good luck with your selling in the future.

I have just looked at your current listings.....and you have not learned a thing about selling.

"gold and diamond" what?

Show, or at least say what amount is on the valuation certificate.

Try describing what the pendants are made of....."pendant" says absolutely nothing.

I noticed all the new listings yesterday,  but gave up

She said she learned, but nope

Some people describe zirconias as diamonds because they don't know

the difference

One of the pendants is described as bone, and that got through

Yep, the ring with red stones....are they rubies?  Who knows?

The basic answer is if you make a mistake, you don't have to go through with the sale (or a purchase for that matter).

That's the bottom line.

As others have said, write and explain and cancel the sale or refund any money paid.

Some have used the word morality. I think it is interesting as my early training in morality stated that someone only had to shoulder the guilt for wrong doing if they had full knowledge, full intention, full consent in the wrong doing.

In this case, the seller didn't have full knowledge or any intention to sell for those prices. So they aren't morally wrong.

They've been careless, ill prepared perhaps.

The buyer will be disappointed.

But there's no reason why a savvy buyer should automatically have the right to insist on sale by a naive seller. and who knows, the buyer may be understanding.

The OP posted it, Springy.

The sale went through

cant force sellers to sell

cant force buyers to pay

cant force posters to listen

cant find an apropriate book
