Oh yes, so you did, I misread the sentence. Don't mind me, all my head contains at the moment is a flashing neon sign saying "SPACE FOR RENT". I am so gaga at the moment, you'd think I was a pregnant blonde (no offence to pregnant women or blondes). Severe sleep deprivation, plus a very stressful situation in my life at the moment isn't doing my head any favours.
I think I read it as "rotten fruit, and vegetables" (with a comma that wasn't there, meaning rotten fruit and not rotten vegetables).
As for my eco friendly compost, I have a rather large compost heap down the back yard. Too much generated here for any compost bin. Probably doesn't help that the neighbours contribute to it occasionally too. It's about 12 foot x 12 foot square and is currently about 4 feet high. A couple of work colleagues have recently moved into newly built homes. I'm hoping they come and raid my heap soon when they build their gardens.
