Ok, just had a chat with the OP, lovely person.

The items were not misrepresented. (I have them here)

It seems the buyer being very fussy may have thought they were a company made item rather than by a person.

Hence some very small imperfections and if the buyer wanted them as a gift, she wasn't happy.

So tomorrow the set will be donated to the ladies at the Church Op shop and they will appreciate it I am sure. 

I'm glad you heard from the OP. I'm sure the ladies at the op shop will appreciate them. Hopefully they'll keep the set there to have their cuppa from rather than onsell them.
