Thanks again *tippy*toes*! I know, it's a large sum of money for me. I'm just afraid if it involve lawyers, it'll easily cost more than the item itself and that's not even guaranteed to succeed. However, I haven't quite given up yet.

I've got my fingers crossed that Hermes Paris would respond to my request for the replacement receipt. I think that would be the most powerful evidence from my side. So I'll put in more effort to press Hermes to help me out on that.

On another front, I'll see whether ACCC would look at the case I've lodged with them regarding eBay.
