When requesting a return on an item, buyers are asked to select a reason for their return. In those instances where the item they've received is the wrong one or doesn't match the description, doesn't seem authentic, or is damaged/ missing parts, the seller will be responsible for return postage costs.
If a buyer wants to return an item because they've changed their mind, you can decide whether to accept or decline their request provided you follow the returns policy stated in your listing. Your returns policy can specify that remorse returns are paid for by the buyer or you can also offer seller-paid remorse returns.
eBay should look into previous sales of the item that the customer suggested to be wrong or doesn't match the description to hold a seller responsible for a return postage label.
If the buyer isn’t located near a ParcelPoint location, they can select to have a courier pick up the parcel which may come at a small additional cost to the buyer. If there is no coverage in the buyer’s area, then they will be offered an Australia Post label instead. By Who?????
Kind regards
