But, as phorum has already pointed out, leaving a false positive is the equivalent cutting off your own nose to spite your face.


 


What point is there for a seller to get THEMSELVES restricted due to policy violations?


 


a) You leave a false positive.


b) Buyer reports you, and the feedback is removed.


c) Seller gets a policy violation against their account.


 


Net result = no "warning feedback" remains on Buyer's feedback, and a genuine risk of teh seller (not the buyer) being restricted.


 


In fact, it's actually a breach of THESE forums as well - the posts that recommend it can be reported for "Encouraging Violations"
