eBay isn't really a monopoly in Australia - if you want to see a monopoly when it comes to online auctions, look across the water to the east where Trade Me is practically the only viable option that In Zid has, the others don't even come close - eBay doesn't even operate over there (yet they do in Ireland, go figure).
