well . . . . they said that sellers loved free listings when they used to happen every two months or so  . . . . . . and they have introduced free listings for casual sellers . . . . . . and they need a new revenue stream to make up for the lost fees.  With more recent freebies being rolled out for sellers (up to 12 pictures etc) expect to see more ads on listings.
