Hi all, I sold a nintendo ds on sunday and once completed i sent the winning bidder an invoice. i almost immediatley got a response back saying that they couldnt pay within 3 days that was stated on the invoice and to just relist it, i sent return email saying if they still wanted it thursday would be fine for payment, i heard nothing. yesterday (thursday) i requested they advise payment details, the response i got was very rude and agressive, asked what exactly i would like them to confirm!!!, so i wrote back and said well you could confirm if you are going to pay. so their response to this is to swear at me in capital letters no less. this buyer is a zero feedback so just new, i opened a non paying bidder dispute, they then went through checkout to say they would pay. they also left me negative feedback saying i was pushy............what is a person to do.......i also requested their contact info although im not sure i would want to speak with such a rude pig anyway. I guess i will just wait the 4 days and give him a strike. Once the dispute is closed will the negative feedback be removed? or will i have to beg for it to be removed?
Seeing it from a buyer's perspective, it seems they might have thought that your words were to confirm they will pay, rather than if they can pay. It actually still seems questionable as to what you wanted them to do. Maybe just be more clear in the future that if they don't/can't pay, that's ok, or just tell them the deadline to which they can pay before you relist. If you don't hear anything back by the deadline date, just relist. Just give them enough time to respond (say, a week after your first message) and be clear with what you expect of them.
