Problems receiving emails on ebay

I just got off the phone from ebay about this issue.

 

I have had no emails received on my message ebay account since the 9th of November, but I have received messages from buyers in my private email account linked to ebay and this is the only way I can also respond to my buyers.

 

If my private email account was not linked to receive messages on ebay, I would not have known that buyers were enquiring about my items.

 

Apparently, I am not the only one having issues.

 

Ebay is just one BIG glitch at the moment!

Have you and/or a buyer tried to exchange contact details for pick-up items?

 

It seems a 7 day suspension of the messaging system is automatic for that these days.

I have had one pick up in the last week, but the item was bought and paid for through paypal, before any info was exchanged about location and phone numbers.

I think if I was banned for seven days, I wouldn't be receiving ebay messages through my private email account.
apparently it is a technical issue, and ebay can see the messages I have received, but I'm not. They hope the issue will be resolved 24-48 hrs 😔

Last time ebay said 24-48 hours it was a couple of weeks

 

Much like their estiamted delivery dates

 

No sense of time at all

 

 

But everything crossed I'm wrong
