Mate,it sold "buy it now" both times, ebay told me both times it was sold. eBay told me that the buyer must pay, the buyer is at fault. I entered immediate payment on all options(up to the buyer to arrange an inspection ,isn't it?)The greedy ones block others.

People should have a good think before commiting to a contract, but they appear to no underastand.

As I entered somewhere on here I will withdraw the sale after I clean up this mess. Will keep my boat.

Finally can anyone out there in eBay land show me a rule that contradicts eBays instruction(rule?):if you wish, hit, buy it now,pay for item and contact seller? Regards. stromper-gd

With all due respect stromper, it is you who do not understand.

NOBODY is going to pay immediately for a boat or car without inspecting it first. And nobody is going to pay with paypal for a pickup only item.

You keep talking about how things work in your perfect world.  You are not in your perfect world here....you are in ebays palyground and you need to follow their rules even if you do not agree with them.

You have been given advice by some very experienced ebayers but you ignore it and keep spouting your idea of how things should work..  Please do not bring age into your arguments either. You have had advice from ebayers ranging in age from their 40s to their 70s and we all understand how it works.

You may  well be better off if you withdraw your listing from ebay and list in your local paper...that way the buyer will have to contact your before purchasing which is what you want.
