This reminds me of a prank we pulled on our teachers when I was in high school.

It was a top class, all girls Selective school and we were supposed to be oh so proper young ladies.  One of the students had access to empty Teacher's Whisky bottles which we saved up for Muck Up Day.   They were piled up outside the Staff Room door.

It would probably be pretty lame these days but it gave the students and teachers a good laugh some 55 years ago.

I reckon teachers at some of those schools would need a stiff drink after dealing with the students!  One of my classmates in my HSC year had been expelled from a rather posh boarding school for girls and I wouldn't have wanted to be one of her teachers.

It really amuses me that eBay goes to such lengths to stop us saying this or that in eBay messages.

As soon as a buyer buys something and pays with Paypal, I have their email. And I can put whatever I want in their package, including a nice little note with all my social media accounts, email, website, etc.

It's not even that difficult for a buyer to find you outside of eBay if you are on other sites. A quick Google of my store name is all that's required to find all of my social media accounts and website.

They really are fighting a losing battle. Social media didn't exist back in 1998 - but it does now, and eBay needs to adapt.

What they should be focusing on is making people WANT to use this site. Incentivise. It actually IS possible, with good, fair policies, fees, and exposure for sellers.
