Seriously read the 3rd and 4th line in OPs opening post says it all

No, it doesn't say it all. It says ebay has suspended him and he doesn't know why. And that is exactly why he should keep calling ebay. Ebay can suspend people by mistake, or they suspend people to save us all from the most monstrous fraudster. You can bet your bottom dollar that your situation is not exactly the same as the OP's.

It is the same response that everyone gets when they get suspended.

Ebay won't tell you why.

And mate I tried for 2 bloody years to get an answer from ebay without any success.

It doesn't matter what the situation is as it is a suspension and it will never be reinstated.

The situation doesn't have to be the same as mine but mate the response from ebay is 100% the same.

And I'll bet you that OP doesn't get reinstated.

You can also google "how to get ebay suspension reversed" and you will get many hits. Many people have got their accounts reinstated. There is calling ebay with remorse and humility, and there is calling ebay with combative and abusive tone. The latter won't get you reinstated if you have done something wrong n the first place..

I never did anything wrong and got suspended and it looks like OPs in the same situation.

I have never abused ebay regarding the matter so stop assuming that I did.

I bloody begged ebay to reinstate me and mate the suspension was in no way my fault it was due to a stupid ebay policy that many scamming buyers got around and ebay sided with them due to the policy which was very unfair at the time.

Yes people have been reinstated but that was for maybe a short suspension and not for life.

The response from ebay to OP is for life as was mine and many others that have been wrongfully done by.

Ebay should be the one's with the remorse and humility towards me but ebay doesn't know what that means.

Sure if OP or I did anything wrong to get suspended then I'd take it on the chin but I never did any wrong and OP probably didn't either.

Stop sticking up for ebay as they're all about the buyer and are gutless and ebay ruin peoples lives.

1. Unfair or not, it's their sandbox, if you went against their policy then you did do something wrong.

2. You assume all those people who have ever been reinstated were slapped with a short ban in the first place. That is a big assumption.

3. You keep putting the OP and yourself in the same boat. We already agreed previously that the situations could not have been the same.

This all comes back to the original answer I posted in response to the OP, with the advice that he keeps calling ebay, that you are so vehemently against. Do you not understand that OP calling ebay and you calling ebay are two different things? Two different situations, two different people, two different tones and approaches. You may have given up calling ebay, but others shouldn't.

I'm doing just fine now and I don't need to call ebay about anything anymore.

And when a member gets the same response to why they were suspended then sure it might not be because of the same issue 

but it was the same outcome.

By all means people that have been recently suspended should keep calling ebay.

And let me put it point blank I never went against ebay's policy it was the buyers who went with a very unfair policy at the time which I NEVER did anything wrong ok but got punished for it anyway so stop saying I was in the wrong when I have told you I wasn't.

You may be kissing ebay's rear end but I don't,not for something ebay could have easily looked into more closely.

A lot of members on these boards know the situation and what happened even an ebay employee tried to help as they also agreed that it wasn't at all fair but unfortunately once ebay make up their mind they then don't change it.

You keep arguing that a permanent restriction from selling can be reversed,NO it can't!

It may be a more positive argument if you do not keep calling someone who disagrees with you "kissing ebay's rear end". Just not very long ago, someone here accused me of seeing demons in everything ebay does. So I must be a double agent. Or a communist! (GASP!!)

I never said you were in the wrong with ebay, I never said otherwise either. I don't know your situation, and nobody here knows but yourself. When people coome here and tell a story about ebay, positive or negative, the story has to be taken with a grain of salt. And that is exactly what I am doing. Pardon me for not jumping straight in with both feet to your defense.

Ebay has a few million accounts in Australia alone, never mind the world. Saying that NONE of those banned "indefinitely" was ever reinstated is a pretty big call. Us mortals down here simply do not know such things.

Regulars to the boards know Kollector's situation and how it evolved at the time.

And the utter devastation that ocurred.  To think this could happen to anyone at any time was unthinkable.

They are also not the only one that this has happened to.

How about you agree to disagree?  And call it quits.
