i have one now, 2 days ago messages me wanting several of my items can i do combined postage.

sure i say, let me know which ones you want so i can weigh them then i'll get you a price.

last night i get a reply with a list of items.

so i get them out, weigh them, do the calculations. send the price, items including postage.

if hes happy i'll relist them as a single item at the price.

about an hour later i get a 'yes, that is fine' thank you.

so i relist the items and message him. giving him the listing title just to make finding it easy.

then nothing, they havent even been viewed.

Similar story here, happened a couple of times, asked about combined postage, how much would it cost. I combined them, weighed them, checked the cost,  worked out they would end up getting the postage of four at half the original postage cost.  Informed them, Then NOTHING, not a peep out of them.  I'm not doing that anymore.  I offer combined postage in my listings.  Sometimes the second item travels for free, sometimes, it may be a small reduction in the postage, as most sellers would  know. I am just going to say " combined postage should work out cheaper, but not always, I cannot tell you exactly until you commit to buy the items" Maybe these people are just tyre kickers, like the ones who spend weekends looking at cars, caravans, display homes, boats etc. without the funds or means to buy anything, or maybe they think the postage cost will drop away to $0

same here, buy the items seperately post costs $50, my combined is $25.

and no charge for packing in new boxes and with new bubble wrap ect.

not giving up on him yet, hes got 3 days, of course in that time the items could sell to someone else. kinda hope they do.
