I'm sort of answering shopping bag here but with reference to stawka.
Stawka's right, it comes down to perception.
Sometimes when things sell, you can't even be sure the buyers have read through the whole ad or just based their purchase on titles and photos but I think any serious collector would be more inclined to read an ad through.
I'm not a collector but sometimes I admit to looking at some ads where I'm really trying to second guess just what condition something is in. New/unopened is always going to be more reassuring to a serious collector than anything marked used. When sellers say something is in 'as new' used condition etc, sorry, but I don't always believe them, I wonder if maybe it is a bit more used than they admit to. That's when doubts can creep in and I look at the photos carefully and base it on that.
Having said that, there is no way i think you should list an item as brand new etc if it isn't.
I'd relist as used but start by saying you only listed that way as the seals have been broken but it is unused.
The serious buyer, reading the other description, would have looked closely at the photos and decided the other item really did look in pristine condition, whereas with yours, they weren't quite so sure. They thought the other was was a little bit newer condition, that is all. So you have to make yours look equal.
Plus maybe try the extra category as someone else suggested. You might get some collectors who just browse the category and never saw your ad.
