Yes,there does seem to be an imbalance in favour of some buyers and I think that in some cases sellers should be able to leave a neutral to at least identify there has been a problem with their "buyer" which is so often the case.Tardy payment,no response to invoices,non-payment etc.
If the seller's feedback is sensible and honest there should not be any problems. The unpaid item reports apparently don't always work as the buyers feedback can be removed on appeal within a short time.So should a seller have the same latitude perhaps.
Just looking at the forums in recent months it seems that the "no negative feedback" policy has become a very critical issue with sellers and that there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the eBay policy should be reviewed.
What has to be remembered though is that buyers should not become a protected species and neither should sellers which was the case several years ago.
Perhaps Admin should have a look at the situation.I doubt it.
