A little off topic, but a seller of a commodity we use for our business decided to ship out last order via Fastway, rather than Toll or FastTrack as in the past.

As opposed to our usual overnight delivery the Fastway was loggeed as "onboard for delivery" and stayed that way for 3 days.

Spat the dummy and told our supplier we would had now purchased elsewhere and would be refusing delivery from Fastway when they attempted delivery.

Also informed the supplier they may save a couple of bucks per order delivery cost, but they had lost our business (circa $1.000 pa)

Moral to the story - Don't get mad - Get even

A big part of the problem is eBays contract with Fastway in Australia. If all those who are unhappy with Fastways appalling service (and yes it is appalling - the only courier service I know that doesnt have an option or parcel collection outside of business hours in Sydney metro) report the matter to eBay they may just reconsider renewing their contract. I'm also going to start contacting sellers when i buy anything on eBay and requesting they dont use Fastway as the courier service (since it means I get my parcels weeks later than I should or not at all)

Really? Where is your proof? That is the biggest load of rot I've read in ages. Why would eBay have a contract with a courier?

In the last few months I've had several items delivered by Fastway. Some eBay, others not. Each delivery arrived in 2 days from postage. I am in a rural area, so don't expect overnight delivery. I know many others have issues with them, but my recent experiences, I couldn't fault them. Even the delivery drivers were very pleasant.

A lot of the current problems with Fastway are to do with the sellers......ebay is so fixated on proof of delivery, signatures etc that the couriers have to make sure they get those signatures.

I get regular deliveries from Queensland delivered by Fastway with never a problem.   I order on Sunday evening and have the package by 8am Tuesday morning.   The difference is that this company has a space for delivery instructions on the order form....I just put the location of my Safe Drop box and rarely see the driver.

I have a question, what are the costs involved with fastway?

Hi there, am now experiencing my second delivery with Fastway & its worse than the first. They just keep messing me around, have called numerous times, they say its all good & the parcel will be delivered. Parcel still hasn't turned up, been sitting home waiting for a little over a week now they just don't seem to care. We don't all have the luxury of sitting round home all day every day waiting for the likes of an incompetent courier company that never turns up, we have lives to!!!! CJ

And you can back up such a bold claim with numbers - NOT

Oh the classic 'NOT' technique...got me good, you did!

NEVERMIND ON TROUBLES!!! LET'S DO HOBBY!!!

Hello Everyone,

Add me to the list too.

Had item delivered this afternoon with online delivery stating the folliwng:

"ATL Left at front door
Your parcel has been delivered as per your instructions."

All lies as I live in a unit block and would never authorise such a request.
I can see I am going to be lied too. Contacted the seller to report the issue.
Wish me luck.

Good luck!

I also have been extremely disappointed in the service from Fastway Couriers.

Attempts to contact them directly are impossible, having to speak with a person from overseas who

has a very poor English vocabulary is unacceptable.

From reading all the negative reviews, here and on other reviews sites, I am shocked that any individual or company would

deal with them.
