Sorry my first point about reading the heading was directed to member emporiumdownunder that said the stores never showed in eBay searches. people had to click on your shop. ( How would they find your shop if your items were never in search)

It is correct that store items (BIN) didn't show in searches. I think it was 2007 that it changed (someone can correct me if it is wrong) .. anyway, stores were $9.95 (basic) and store listings were 10c each plus 1c for gallery.  

That sounds really cheap, I know but the kicker was that because those items didnt show in searches (unless there were very few auction results) you also had to run lots of regular auctions and keep asking everyone to check out your other listings.

Buyers would hopefully find one of your auctions (which cost around $1.09 each with gallery for under $19.99 start price) and then hopefully go in to your store to look at your store listings.
