Don't b;ame the sellers......they have no say in it.   Ebay decides which listings will be eligible for it and put it on whether the seller wants it or not.

I decided not to use it as a buyer as soon as it was announced......I could not see any real benefit for me.

Horrible experience with eBay support charging me the yearly amount every month for eBay plus.
Additional to that I've gotten no value from it and sellers that don't have eBay plus often sell for cheaper and sellers that are part of eBay plus and use the 20% off codes often price jack their product 20% so you don't save anything.
It's cheaper to shop on Amazon since price jacking is so common

I have had the exact same experience, I have a few sale items that have qualified with the postage added but most of them don't unless I have free postage.  I have found it better to just offer postage discounts for mulitple purchases.

I have saved a little on postage when buying and got the subscription for half price or something but I don't think I will renew it unless they offer a better deal for selling.  It doesn't seem to matter what I do on some listings, they don't qualify for Plus sellling

It is a con for sure.

Im livid about it

Not a con, but it is useless in a lot of respects.

 Were you buying or selling?

"Start me up I'll never stop......"

the shipping has to be under a certain amount, i've found that it works under $11 for me

When i use an "auspost 500g prepaid bag". it always gets ebay plus added to my listings when the other criteria is met as well

The items also have to be over a certain price if they have separate postage, otherwise they won't have plus on them. I'm pretty sure the magic figure is $15, so if your items are priced at less than that they won't have Plus applied to them unless they have free postage.
