Sorry, I probably didn't explain that well.
- The funds were held by PayPal while the dispute was open.
- The buyer sent me the funds via bank deposit and I agreed to accept liability.
- However, then I called PayPal and the dispute was withdrawn, so the funds went back into my account and I did not need to accept liability.
So then I ended up with both the buyer's original PayPal payment of $17, and another $17 from them in my bank account. So I refunded them $17 from my PayPal.
