No, it's not (EVER) that. What happens is that sometimes the text ends up on the same line as the opening {quote} or closing {/quote} tags. Here it must be exactly like this structure, otherwise it creates a mess: {quote mid="604957854"} quoted text on a separate line {/quote} On another forum that I commonly use it's quite different - you need to make it like this, or it stuffs up: {quote mid="604957854"}quoted text on a SAME line{/quote}

I just hit the quotation icon, then scroll down to the bottom, click after the end quote and type. Haven't stuffed one up yet.
