I despair over the amount of plastic being produced for frankly ridiculous things.

I'm kinda mystified at the appeal of the little shop stuff, tbh. And bemused at what they've done for round two (as far as I know last time it was the product replicas and display case, this time they have a trolley, shopping basket, cash register and grocery bag you can buy as well Smiley Frustrated ).

Reminds me of one of the earlier episodes of Futurama, where a big pile of trash that was lauhched into space is now hurtling back to obliterate New York, so the team is tasked with going to destroy it (a la Armageddon).

They land on the surface of the garbage ball, and this exchange happens:

Leela: Look at all this filth.

Fry: It's not filth. It's a glorious monument to the achievements of the 20th century. Look! A real Beanie Baby. Oh! A Mr. Spock collector's plate! Some Bart Simpson dolls!

Leela: Fry, this stuff was garbage when it was new. Let's blow it up already!

Fry: This junk isn't garbage! I can dig in any random pile and find something great.
