The only thing I would add is that a lot of the policies ebay have implemented over the last few years seem to be largely influenced by what appears to be ebay's fear of amazon. I am not even sure what ebay is so worried about, sure there are a lot of similarities between ebay and amazon, but there are also a lot of differences. If I were the CEO of ebay, I would double down on promoting and expanding the differences.
