To a non seller this is so confusing. Reading lots of the threads lately they all seem to be about how expensive ebay has become with new changes and so many people claiming to be closing down their shops and moving on because they cant justify the fees. Here is another thread where almost all of the replies have been in defence of all the fees and charges from ebay and paypal

Different posters look at things in different ways, the fee changes have affected many sellers in different ways, and while there are a lot of sellers on the boards, they're individuals rather than a collective - the main thing is that it isn't the same posters complaining about fees then defending them. If it was then it would definitely be confusing. Or at least an indication of which seller's are confused.

Although in saying that, I can't say I'm thrilled about higher fees...but I do pay them willingly.
