I'm thinking of opting out of eBay Plus. The $4 doesn't cover my express. What's the point of the free express feature when AP is not guaranteeing express delivery at the moment. The normal delivery is just as  quick. I have to cover more for the express. There's not much benefit and it's not helping my sales anyway. I use MyPost, there's no $1 pickup anymore. For normal parcels, I can put most of them in the street mailbox, but for express, i have to go to the post office to send it.

So yes, to opt out, just incress the express cost in the listings to $15+.

Sorry to add to the old thread bump, I found out this the hard way today 😞

Hi,

As a seller I would like to know where is the $4 refund is for the many Express orders I receive now?

I don't mind doing them, as it has increased our sales................but................show me the money.

I don't participate in the Plus program, so I don't have any first-hand experience of how it works, but to the best of my knowledge, the $4 is paid at the time of sale when the buyer pays, not later.

So, for example, let's say the item is $25 free post, and your express postage upgrade is normally $5. If an eBay Plus buyer who qualifies for a free upgrade to express make a purchase, they will pay $25, ebay will pay $4, and the seller receives $29 in total, either via PayPal, or to their Payments account, so I would check the amounts in your PayPal account or Payments account if on Managed Payments.

I think the problem is, the seller lists as free postage to qualify for Plus, then has say $12 for express. As the Plus buyer gets a free upgrade, eBay pay the seller $4, then seller then has to foot the remaining $8 for express, not eBay or the buyer.

That is a problem for some sellers, but not the poster I was responding to as they were specifically asking where the $4 from ebay is (plus their express post upgrade is $6).
