Yes - you need to set your store to Holiday Mode, you can display a custom message on your store page, set-up an auto-response to any messages, and opt to keep your listings visible or hidden (for a break longer than a few days, I would have them hidden, as the message displayed on listings is often missed by buyers and you'll likely get negs and/or low DSRs from people who didn't see it).
To set it to Holiday Mode, click the Holiday Settings link under Manage My Store.
